kouyouenseiHaruhi and Franziska had positive CR; when Haruhi, Nui, Franziska, and Bobby venture into zone 3, they form a foursome. Unfortunately, Franziska swings a branch and scratches Bobby's face. Overreacting slightly, Bobby kills her with his knife. Nui proceeds to murder Bobby with her wakizashi.
Like the grand majority of players, Yugi and Bakura venture into Zone 1, where they greet Mayu and Jack. Beat and Holden also wander into this area. Because they both have little sister complexes and Holden knows Mayu does also, she successfully lures them both into the lethal trap of Jack's razor wire. Jack and Mayu advance to Zone 2. Silver is here separate from Harriet, and Mayu kills him with Holden's dagger. They finally meet up with Kyoya and Tamaki, who had formed an alliance with them, and spend the night in a cabin taking shifts.
On day 2, gnats separate the partners. Hajime Saito kills Yugi. Mayu Akamura kills Yona and Craig.
Harriet is obviously already alone and has received a tip from her sponsors that Mayu Watanabe killed Silver. In zone 1, she interrogates Atsuko Maeda who soothes her with a sincere apology. Tamaki goes to zone 3, where Nui remains, but Jack catches up with him and they have no confrontation. He returns to zone 2 about the same time Kyoya returns from zone 0. Mayu Watanabe and Bakura are also there.
Iceland stays in zone 1 and therefore meets Mayu Akamura fleeing zone 2. They renew their pact. Iceland reunites with Norway by noon. Mayu then runs into Soji at the lighthouse. She returns to zone 2 swimming with Silver's snorkel. Harriet recognizes the item and attacks her. To survive, Mayu consumes ochimizu, and Harriet retreats. Later, Souji sees her and explains that it's an item from his world; she also talks with Sogo.
Still in zone 3, courtesy of Cole, Jack has a close encounter with a huge bear. He reunites with Mayu; they then run into Soji. Jack advances from the camp to check out a flashing in zone 4, Haruhi operating the lighthouse; though by the afternoon Nui had found Haruhi in zone 4, they separated again.
At night it is announced that on day 3, players will be banned from the zone where they spent day 2. Kyoya and Mayu talk until dawn when the quartet advances to zone 4.
The first of the day's events is a tsunami that foils swimming schemes. Nui kills Kenny; before Iron Bull finds her fleeing a flooded house, Haruhi goes off course towards Harriet, who is heading for zone 3. Sogo and Toshiro are already there.
Rainfall starts an hour later. Jack and Mayu kill Mayu and Atsuko; the 3-4 southern footbridge is destroyed. Kyoya runs into Tokaku before reuniting with Tamaki.
Lightning strikes cause more dispersion. Kyoya cooperates with Iceland before he finds Jack with a concussion. He attends to the wound without killing him. Mayu runs into Norway, then describes the encounter to Iceland, who kills her.
Day four sees Zone 4 forbidden and an announcement that one partner killing another earns the right to leave. Sogo and Toshiro consider this, surprising Harriet. Haruhi on her own creates nooses for game; she gets startled by Cole, gets pretty emotional about her scars near Kyouya, consoles Jack about his partner Mayu, and shares food with Iron Bull. He checks on Kyouya, who feels more determined to prove himself after talking with Haruhi, and discusses with Iceland, who tries to weasel out of taking credit for Mayu's death, and explores the magma fields with Harriet and Iron Bull. He rigs this place with a trap that claims the life of Tamaki, pissing off Kyouya. Shortly before sunset, Nui, Jack, and Bakura gang up to fight Sogo and Toshiro; the latter dies.
Jack returns from the confrontation and has a dinner with Kyouya, made tense by the latter's frazzled attempt to poison him. This failing, Kyouya retrieves the medical kit and strikes him on the head. After some additional struggle, he strangles Jack to death. Meanwhile, clips from previous weeks are played on the night sky. Harriet sees Haruhi sobbing over Franziska and determines to protect her.
On Day 5, they announce Five Fun Funerals; this unlucky quintet suffers from a plague. Kyouya and Harriet form an alliance. Tokaku kills Bakura. Iron Bull makes fun of Harriet's sponsorship, a massive scythe and Haruhi's singing Lost My Music, wandering on her own to be safely separated from the doomed Nui. Kyouya and Harriet lure Nui into a lake and electrocute her. After the other lighthouse convinces her there's actually nothing out there, Haruhi discovers Nui's body. She almost kills herself with Bobby's knife but hears Franziska's voice and instead cuts her hair in imitation, also beginning to use her habit of full name address. Resolved to play the game, Haruhi duels and kills Sogo. Iceland and Norway become even more aggressive after Norway is doomed; they kill Soji and Hajime, but Norway dies when they meet Iron Bull and Cole.
Day 6 sees a spike in status effects - a soundless Zone 3 and a lightless Zone 4. In the latter area, singing God Knows, Haruhi finds Kyouya and after an emotional lunch stabs him in the back with Nui's sword. Iron Bull and Cole are still alive. Iceland prepares increasingly elaborate plans with traps and poison. Harriet duels and kills Tokaku.
Day 7 is declared a sudden death. With the armory revealed, Iceland attacks Cole and Iron Bull with all he has. Meanwhile, Haruhi and Harriet reaffirm their alliance and are prepared to face Iceland.
